Digital Shakespeare Workshops © 1623

Bring your class over to QUAD to take part in a fun interactive workshop that brings together energetic live performance and dazzling digital art.

For primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities.

You and your class with will work with an actor from 1623, QUAD’s award-winning resident theatre company, and a digital artist to create a performance with digital scenery.

The workshop will explore Shakespeare’s characters and language through fun theatre games in a scene from:

: A Midsummer Night’s Dream or Macbeth for Key Stage 2
: A Shakespeare play linked to your current English and/or Drama syllabus for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
: The play/s that you are teaching to your undergraduates

Participants will create digital scenery based on Shakespeare’s imagery and perform the scene in front of their own digital art.

Here's what happened when Mickleover Primary School joined us for half a day to explore A Midsummer Night's Dream:

: 3 hours per workshop

: £300 in total, all-inclusive, for each workshop

: Experience has taught us that 30 is a good number to maximise quality of experience for all
participants in workshops
