NEW WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND YOUTH THEATRES
Allow us to transform your classroom, lecture hall or theatre studio into a rich digital canvas as we explore the possibilities of adapting Shakespeare in the 21st century.
Taking inspiration from 1623's own adaptation of King Lear in our pilot production Lear/Cordelia, participants will work collaboratively to create their very own immersive, mutlimedia performance - conjuring a storm which reflects both the physical environment of the play as well as the tumultuous nature of Lear's mind.
With insight into projection mapping, soundscaping, and ensemble delivery of Shakespearean text, this two-hour workshop promises a fascinating glimpse at the possibilities of bringing together classical text and digital technology to create exciting, new interpretations of some of the richest language in the world.
COST: £400 in total, all-inclusive, for each workshop
Maximum number of participants: 30
